1. Overview

The Internet of things is here. It’s about connecting devices to the internet, with a new Chinese based chip the ESP8266 it makes it possible for anyone to learn and tinker with these technologies

the world changing esp8266 module

What we want to achieve: We want to assemble a Universal Data Logger, an Arduino based micro-controller that will read local environmental data, temperature and humidity in this case and write those values back to the Internet

Hardware and Software: To get this module working we need to build some hardware and then upload software which will make the module work. Everything you need should be provided in this “How To” if it’s not let us know and we’ll include more information
